The Bridges Out of Poverty training and community forum that were postponed earlier this year have been rescheduled on Thursday, April 23, 2015. The all-day training ($10 per person) will be held in Scharmann Theater at Jamestown Community College and the community forum (FREE) will be held from 6:30 to 9 pm in Darrah Hall at Christ First UMC, 633 Lakeview Ave., Jamestown, NY. Panama UMC and Panama Baptist Church will present "The Story, the Musical," at 7 pm May 1 and May 2 at Panama Central School. "The Story" presents the Bible from Genesis through Revelation. Both performances are free and open to the public; tickets will be issued to accommodate seating. Please share with your church family and the greater community and plan to attend. Mark June 5 & 6 on your calendar and plan to attend the 2015 Men's Retreat at Mission Meadows in Bemus Point. Great music and worship, engaging speakers and encouraging breakout sessions and plenty of recreation time and food are planned. The District encompasses all of Chautauqua County, Cattaraugus County and part of Allegany County. There are 70 churches on the district.
